Program Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry is an 18-month part-time course aimed at primary care dental practitioners. The course provides support for patients with dental anxiety and equips dentists with the knowledge, skills, and experience to safely and independently use conscious sedation techniques in their clinics.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess a dental degree that enables registration with the Dental Council in Ireland. Entry to training in conscious sedation in dentistry would normally follow a two-year period of general professional training post-graduation. Applicants will also need to include an additional 300-word statement indicating why they wish to undertake the course.
English Language Requirements
All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band C (Higher Entry) English language requirements.
