Public Health: Environmental and Occupational Health Emphasis
Overview
The Public Health major with an Environmental and Occupational Health emphasis is designed for students interested in environmental health, protection of natural resources, and safety for workers and communities. This program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health and focuses on environmental justice, public health preparedness, industrial impact, sanitation, and safety fundamentals.
Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to communicate public health information in written form.
- Students will be able to communicate using a variety of media, including an ePortfolio.
- Students will be able to synthesize epidemiological information.
