Program Overview

The Doctor of Dental Science (DDSc) in Paediatric Dentistry is a 3-year full-time professional doctorate designed to train dentists in specialist clinical Paediatric Dentistry. The program follows the UK Specialist Curriculum and the Tri-collegiate Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh blueprints, and upon completion, graduates are eligible to sit the Tri-collegiate specialty membership examination. The program incorporates a range of teaching methods and clinical training opportunities in a well-equipped environment with strong links to Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
