Program Overview

The year-long foundation programme prepares mature learners for the Orthoptics BSc programme. It develops essential undergraduate study skills, introduces various teaching methods, and offers broad practical patient experiences. Graduates are equipped to diagnose and manage eye conditions and pursue fulfilling careers as autonomous practitioners within healthcare teams, primarily the National Health Service as Orthoptists.
