We will look at the development of training sessions, assessment and feedback with links to fulfilling continued professional development (CPD) requirements. Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session participants will be able to:

• Design teaching sessions appropriate to the learner, resources and desired learning outcomes
• Identify, record and present evidence of workplace learning
• Provide constructive feedback to staff on the outcomes of assessment
• Motivate learners in the workplace
• Improve standards of teaching and training by means of reflective practice

Tutor

Vikki Moyse is an HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist, and is currently Training Manager for HCA Healthcare UK Laboratories. She has experience as a Biomedical Scientist and laboratory manager in both NHS and non-NHS settings.

Accreditation

The course is registered as IBMS CPD approved professional activity. An attendance certificate will be issued and may be used for IBMS CPD purposes together with a reflective account of the session.

Location

This course is taught both online and on-campus (see Booking table). When taught on-campus, this course takes place at our Cavendish Campus in central London, within easy walking distance of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road.
