Program Overview

This four-year joint program combines intensive Japanese language study with linguistics modules, providing essential analytical tools and a deep understanding of the Japanese language and East Asian culture. Students spend a year abroad in Japan for further language immersion and cultural experience, and graduate with a solid foundation for careers in various fields related to linguistics, communication, or East Asian studies.
