Program Overview

This module provides information, training and experience of a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to low vision service provision. It aims to enable orthoptists to become competent low-vision practitioners and covers topics such as the effect of ageing on the visual system, visual impairment and the rehabilitation process, coping with sight loss, functional visual assessment and low vision aids and assistive technology.
