Program Overview

The MFA Fashion Design and Society program at Parsons School of Design is the first graduate program of its kind in the US. It offers an interdisciplinary and international curriculum, taught by industry practitioners, to cultivate world-class designers who can make significant contributions to the fashion industry. Graduates pursue diverse careers, including fashion design, art direction, curating, and teaching, with many alumni holding positions at renowned fashion houses. The program provides one-on-one mentorship to develop students' design identity and skills, nurturing them into independent designers in the field.
