Interior Design (MFA)
Program Overview
The Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design program emphasizes innovative design practices, focusing on design as a social practice. Students explore interiors in relation to social, environmental, and cultural issues, with the aim of transforming the field as practitioners and educators. The program is studio-based and research-oriented, with faculty representing a broad range of expertise, and provides access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
Program Outline
Focusing on design as a social practice, the program enables students to develop innovative design practices. Together students and faculty reshape traditional definitions of the field by exploring human and nonhuman species’ experiences as they relate to space, technology, and materials. Students employ their unique cultural perspectives to investigate interiors in relation to current social, gender, and racial issues while addressing the impact of design on health, climate, and ecology.

Overview:
The College of Fashion and Design Dubai (CFD Dubai) is a branch campus of Parsons School of Design in New York City. It was established in 2006 in partnership with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
