- For Arab Academy for Science & Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) graduates: A B.Sc. degree in a relevant major with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of "Good" or higher.
- For graduates from other recognized and accredited colleges: A B.Sc. degree in a relevant major with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of "Good" or higher.
- For Diploma degree holders: A Diploma degree with a "Very Good" grade or higher from the College of Computing and Information Technology or any corresponding colleges in the same major.
- Transfer of Credits:
- The board of postgraduate studies may accept the transfer of credits of equivalent higher studies the student has already completed in corresponding colleges.
- The student must have passed the said courses with at least a "Good" grade.
- A maximum of two courses (6 credit hours) can be transferred.
- No more than two years should have lapsed since the student passed the said courses.
