Program Overview

The Urban and Regional Planning program at this institution is a 5-year undergraduate program that combines one preparatory year, one joint year, and three departmental years. Open to male students only, the program equips graduates with the skills necessary to work as professional planners in ministries, governmental departments, and private agencies. The program focuses on areas such as urban design, housing, social and economic planning, transportation and traffic planning, sustainability, technology, and desert development.
