Master of Science in Botany
Program Overview
The Master of Science in Botany program at Rayyan - Dammam campus is a postgraduate program that emphasizes four branches of botany: Plant Ecology, Plant Physiology, Plant Taxonomy and Floral, and Plant Genetics. The program requires 30 credit hours, including a thesis defense and publication of a research paper, and takes two years to complete. Degree Overview:
The Master of Science in Botany program was initiated in 1404 H to address the shortage of qualified scientists in girls' colleges. It is one of the pioneer programs in the College of Science. Alumni of the Botany program have gained prominent positions in Saudi universities and colleges.
