Program Overview

The PhD in Arabic Language focuses on research and dissertation, with 12 credit hours required in each semester for the thesis. Students pursue either a Linguistics or Literature track, studying topics ranging from syntax and semantics to contemporary narratives and the rhetorical analysis of Arabic poetry.
