Course Overview
The MSc Cyber Security course provides professional education in both the theory and practice of cyber security with excellent coverage to key security disciplines, which enables students to gain comprehensive knowledge and critical skills of cyber security in both technical and human dimensions.
The MSc Cyber Security course is developed in response to the huge demand for cyber security professionals worldwide. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of its practice and techniques for cyber security systems development and operations. The course develops students' ability to analyse the legal, social, ethical and professional issues involved in the human aspects of cyber security and be guided by the adoption of appropriate professional, ethical and legal practices. The course is particularly designed to meet industry needs and job market demands and produce graduates who are informed and suitably equipped to meet the needs of the industry. Graduates of this course will have the critical skills and techniques that enable students to take up security related jobs/roles in a rapidly evolving and diverse environment to appropriately solve typical cyber security problems.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded a degree in MSc Cyber Security with 180 UK credits.

Entry Requirements
An honours degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or equivalent in a computing subject. A business or an engineering degree with a significant level of computing content may also be considered.
English language requirement: 5.5 score for IELTS. Other equivalent English language examinations like English subject score of 60% in Bachelors/grade 12th will be considered.
