Master of Science in Respiratory Therapy (MSRT)
The Master of Science in Respiratory Therapy (MSRT) program at Inaya Medical College is designed to provide evidence-based, high-quality Respiratory Therapy Sciences education and conduct impact research focused on the promotion and preservation of the health and well-being of the community.

Goals
- To improve the scientific and clinical competencies of practicing respiratory therapists and train them in specialized areas of respiratory therapy that enhance the services they offer to the community.
- To train graduates to support scientific creativity and innovation in the design, development, and presentation of scientific research and clinical studies.
- To encourage graduates to develop and to be updated with the latest developments of science and technology in the field of respiratory therapy.
Admission Requirements
- Respiratory Therapy bachelor's degree earned from a regionally accredited college or university prior to matriculation.
- Cumulative GPA average of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL IBT of 55.
- Two letters of reference are recommended.
- Participate in an interview with program faculty.
- No prior healthcare experience required.

Level 1
- AMS511: Advanced Biostatistics (Required, 3 hours)
- AMS512: Leadership and Management (Required, 3 hours)
- AMS513: Research Methodology (Required, 3 hours)
- AMS514: Health Outcomes and Quality Assessment (Required, 3 hours)
Level 2
- RTS521: Advanced Mechanical Ventilation (Required, 3 hours)
- AMS523: Teaching and Education in Healthcare (Required, 3 hours, pre-requisites: AMS511, AMS513)
- RTS522: Seminars in Respiratory Therapy I (Required, 3 hours, pre-requisites: AMS511, AMS513)
- RTS523: Advanced Respiratory Physiology (Required, 3 hours, pre-requisites: AMS511, AMS513)
Levels 3 & 4
- RTS600: Thesis (Required, 12 hours, pre-requisites: RTS522, RTS523)
