Program Overview
The Aircraft Engineering Technology program at ADPoly is a three-year Higher Diploma designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills for the aviation industry. The program combines classroom instruction, workshop training, and on-the-job training, and prepares students for the EASA and GCAA Category B "Maintenance Certifying Technician License" exams, enabling them to work as maintenance technicians on commercial aircraft worldwide.

Program Description:
The AET program combines classroom instruction, workshop training, and on-the-job training at approved industry partners. This integrated approach ensures graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the aviation industry. The program is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and includes the requirements of EASA's/GCAA's Ab/Initio training under part 66/CAR 66 Category B1-Aeromechanics and/or Category B2-Avionics License programs.
Careers:
Graduates of the AET program are eligible to apply for the EASA and GCAA Category B "Maintenance Certifying Technician License" after completing the Ab/Initio training requirements and two years of relevant industrial experience. This license allows them to work as maintenance technicians on commercial aircraft at any recognized or approved maintenance facility worldwide.
