Basic Drilling Technology - BDT - eLearning course
Program Overview
This comprehensive drilling course provides a foundation for professionals involved in oil and gas well design, planning, and operation. Through self-paced modules, participants gain knowledge on drilling equipment, terminology, well planning, problem-solving, and morning report interpretation. The curriculum covers essential topics including directional drilling, fluids, casing, well construction management, and safety, preparing individuals for careers in petroleum engineering, geoscience, drilling operations, and other supporting roles in the industry.
Program Outline
It is beneficial to all parties directly and indirectly involved in the well drilling process. The program is comprised of PetroAcademy™ Skill Modules, each averaging approximately 4 hours of self-paced online learning activies. Total course duration is approximately 50 hours of self-paced learning.
