Program Overview

This five-day "Basin Analysis Workshop: An Integrated Approach to the Exploration and Evaluation of Conventional and Unconventional Resources - BA" provides geoscientists with the theory, methods, and practical experience to develop basin evaluation and modeling techniques. It covers fundamental concepts in geology, geophysics, and geochemistry, including geomechanical fundamentals, geothermal critical, geochemical critical, migration critical, reservoir critical, seal and trap critical, timing critical, and risk and decision-making. Participants will gain hands-on experience using BASINMOD software to analyze case histories and construct basin models.
