Degree Overview:
The International Business and Digital Transformation Master is a 18-month program designed for managers seeking to enhance their knowledge of international business and digital technologies. The program aims to equip participants with the skills necessary to guide their companies in achieving successful international growth through the strategic use of digital technologies, ultimately leading to the creation of Digital Multinational Enterprises (DMNEs). The program leverages the combined expertise of two renowned institutions: Henley Business School, known for its strong tradition in international business, and POLIMI GSOM, recognized for its applied knowledge and practical expertise in innovation and digital technologies. The program's educational project focuses on developing a comprehensive understanding of the international business environment in the digital age. It aims to:
- Provide a holistic view of the international business environment in the digital era.
- Understand how government and supranational institution policies and regulations impact the competitive landscape.
- Utilize frameworks and methodologies to analyze and manage strategic interactions among key international business players, particularly through digital technologies.
- Develop the ability to evaluate cross-border opportunities and challenges to compete effectively within and across foreign markets, leveraging digital technologies.
- Connect the "micro" perspective of individuals and firms with the "meso" perspective of industries and regions, and the "macro" perspective of countries.
- Foster analytical and pragmatic international business and digital capabilities, as well as cross-cultural interpersonal skills.
Teaching:
The program combines theoretical and practical lectures, actively engaging students in project work to enable them to apply their learning in real-world contexts. The program is co-directed by Stefano Elia and Lucia Piscitello.
Entry Requirements:
Bachelor or Master of Science degree. Equivalent foreign qualifications in their respective university systems will be considered valid.
