The Specializing Master in Strategic Design at POLI.design aims to develop experts in design and management who can lead innovation processes. It focuses on integrating product, service, and communication components, improving product and process quality, and managing complexity by integrating resources and actors. Degree Overview:
The Specializing Master in Strategic Design aims to build a strong foundation in strategic design, innovation, and product-system design for companies. The program focuses on developing experts and consultants capable of leading design and management roles within the innovation process of product-systems.
Objectives:
- To train participants in integrating product, services, and communication components.
- To develop skills for improving the overall process quality (production methods and contexts) and the quality of results (actual and perceived quality).
- To acquire the tools needed to understand and recognize the "range of possibilities" within which to operate and the related innovative factors.
- To acquire the skills needed to design and manage innovation of the various product-system components.
- To develop and improve skills to take on and innovate the intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics of the cultural identity of product systems.
Other:
- The program is structured in theory modules, project and laboratory modules, and concludes with a curricular internship or Professional project lasting 550 hours.
- The program emphasizes the integration of product quality with the quality of its environment and the social forms that create it.
- The program is designed for candidates with a university Diploma or a Bachelor or a Master of Science in engineering, architecture, industrial design, economics, social and human sciences, who have gained work experience and intend to enrich their professional careers by working on the border between design and management fields.
- Equivalent foreign qualifications in their respective University Systems will be considered valid.
