Program Overview

The Communication program offers three concentrations (Health Communication, Media and Journalism, or Public Relations) with a curriculum emphasizing speaking, critical thinking, technological, and writing skills. The program prepares students for careers in industries such as advertising, healthcare, news, and multimedia content creation. Students benefit from access to a modern television studio, Mac-based computer lab, and experienced faculty with practical and academic experience. Graduates have secured positions at ESPN, WWLP-TV 22, and SiriusXM Radio, Inc.
