Program Overview

The MRes Living Planet program trains students in cutting-edge quantitative techniques in ecology and evolution, with applications to real-world problems such as ecosystem management, food production, and biodiversity conservation. The program includes core modules on statistics, data science, and research project planning, followed by an extended research project applying these skills to a biological problem. Graduates are equipped for careers in research, conservation, and environmental management.
