Course Description

This course is designed to introduce and shape mathematical skills and techniques to solve challenging mathematical problems which require more advanced decisions regarding their solution strategy. Enrol in this course if you want to deepen your understanding of mathematics in an enjoyable and easy-to-grasp way.

Course Objectives

• The course focuses on helping students recognise when mathematics can be used to analyse and solve problems in context, represent situations mathematically, and understand the relationship between problems in context and mathematical models
• It also emphasizes the importance of drawing conclusions and communicating mathematical interpretations effectively

Course Content

• Advanced topics in algebra, calculus, statistics, and other areas of mathematics, and focuses on applying mathematical concepts and techniques to real-world situations
• Reading and understanding articles on the application of mathematics, making deductions and inferences using mathematical reasoning, and communicating their understanding effectively
• The course will be taught using a variety of methods, including lectures, workshops, and computer-based learning.

Certification

Once you’re done learning and exploring oxford you will be provided with a course attendance certificate handed out during our graduation ceremony. We will highlight what you have learned during your time at OMA and suggest some areas where you could further improve. Not only that but upon request, we can provide each participant with a recommendation letter for future applications.
