  • It refines mediation skills and prepares students for advanced studies in translation or interpreting at the master’s level.
  • Emerging Languages and Multicultural Competencies: This curriculum focuses on linguistic competence in emerging languages (Arabic, Chinese, and Russian) and understanding contemporary cultural anthropology.
  • It equips mediators to work effectively in multicultural contexts.
  • Linguistic Mediation for Marketing and Business: This curriculum focuses on the corporate world, providing expertise in economics, marketing, communication techniques, public speaking, and workplace psychology.
  • It prepares graduates for professional communication in business.

Teaching:

Language teaching is workshop-based, with classes limited to 25 students to ensure a participative learning experience. The curricula emphasize practical skills and application of knowledge in real-world contexts.

Founded in 1968 by the Fondazione Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori, IULM University (originally I.U.L.M.) was established to address labor market needs through modern language training.
