Program Overview


The Executive Master in Behavioural Economics e Nudging trains professionals to become "architects of choices" who can guide decision-making processes using behavioral economics principles and neuromarketing tools. The program focuses on two thematic areas: Behavioral Finance and Insurance, and Behavioral Insights and Interventions. Taught in Italian over six months, it prepares students for careers in management and change planning roles, particularly in financial institutions, marketing, and human resources.

Degree Overview:

The Executive Master in Behavioural Economics e Nudging. Scienze Comportamentali, architettura delle scelte e change management is the first Master's course in Italy to teach the principles of Behavioural Economics and Neuromarketing and their applications to effectively guide decision-making processes. Behavioral Economics, a relatively recent scientific discipline, is presented as a key to interpreting human behavior in the face of change. A key competence developed is the ability to observe and scientifically interpret behavior, including its hidden and peculiar dimensions (verbal behavior, thought processes, emotions). The master's course is also suitable for young graduates with internship experience in organizational and design contexts, who will undergo an initial preparatory phase to integrate organizational knowledge.

  • Behavioral Insights and Interventions (60 hours)

Teaching:

The program uses a blended learning format. The teaching methods include workshops to learn the use of empirical methodologies and appropriate intervention tools. The Scientific Director is Prof. Paolo Moderato.

The Executive Master in Behavioural Economics targets professionals in management and change planning roles within organizational contexts. Specifically:

The main partner of the Master is Ogilvy Consulting. The program is taught in Italian and lasts 6 months, starting in March. A 3-6 month optional internship is available. The program headquarters are in Milan.

Founded in 1968 by the Fondazione Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori, IULM University (originally I.U.L.M.) was established to address labor market needs through modern language training.
