The Master's Executive program in "Cinema, series and shows on audiovisual platforms: production, communication and programming" is a collaboration with Sky and is described as the only course in Italy providing participants with the know-how to design and produce programs and television formats dedicated to cinema and series. It covers a range of topics from daily columns to large live events. The program aims to equip students with the techniques and tools to understand linear and on-demand programming mechanisms on audiovisual platforms, the logic governing programming on satellite channels specializing in cinema and seriality, and their communication strategies (including web and social media).

The program utilizes a combination of expert testimonials (university lecturers, managers, journalists, art directors, authors, film critics, producers, directors), case histories, practical workshops, and guided tours of Sky's recording studios. The Scientific Director is Prof. Gianni Canova, and the Head of teaching is Marta Nicole Mauri and Gabriele Acerbo.


Careers:

Possible job opportunities include positions at television and broadcaster networks, production houses, communication agencies, public relations agencies, and press offices. The program aims to create a professional profile with a 360° understanding of communication and television production.


Other:

The program is taught in Italian, lasts 5 months, starts in October, is part-time, and is based in Milan, Italy. A study visit in Italy is included, and a 3-6 month optional internship is available. The target audience is graduated students and professionals. A partner is Sky.
