The Master's program in Strategic Management in Information Technology (MSMIT) aims to equip professionals with the concepts and skills needed to address the challenges faced by companies undergoing digital transformation. Graduates will be capable of addressing scenarios involving remote teams and developing individual solutions, positioning ICT as agents of added value and change within organizations. The program is designed for professionals with over 5 years of experience, experience using IT in business, and an interest in analyzing organizational change affected by ICT. The general objective is to understand and master the strategic process of IT as part of strategic business development. Specific objectives include understanding the Information and Change Society, learning about business technologies enabling innovation, mastering organizational change management related to IT, mastering tools and techniques for designing business strategies based on IT, and mastering people management techniques for strategic business and ICT management.

The MSMIT program is structured into four parts:


1st Part: Business Strategy (15 Credits):

This part focuses on how organizations prepare for and plan the deployment of change strategies.


2nd Part: People Management (10 Credits):

This section covers strategies for organizational change through people and work groups. It includes:


3rd Part: Business and Technology (35 Credits):

This part introduces tools for transforming traditional organizations into internet-based organizations using new technologies (ICT), providing an overall vision of businesses where IT is a strategic resource. It includes:


4th Part: Scientific Research Methodology and Final Master’s Project (20 Credits):

This part trains postgraduate researchers in theoretical or applied fields to solve academic and/or professional problems. It includes: The total credit structure is 90 credits.
