Program Outline

Degree Overview:

The Master's degree in Inclusive Education, Democracy and Cooperative Learning aims to train professionals to design, implement, and evaluate teaching proposals that address diversity in learning processes within educational and social settings, promoting greater inclusion. The program provides qualified training in theoretical principles and models, and participatory research underpinning inclusive education based on democratic and cooperative learning in social and educational settings. It allows for analysis of social and cultural diversity and personal conditioning that act as barriers to inclusion, and guides the planning of educational practices in schools and social environments that incorporate universal support measures for inclusion, creating authentic learning and educational communities. The program equips students with tools for curriculum planning and personalization, fostering inclusive evaluation processes using a competency-based framework. It develops methodological and organizational strategies based on cooperative learning to promote inclusive and equitable classroom responses. Ultimately, the program focuses on promoting the creation of democratic and participatory environments in schools and social settings. Graduates are trained to interact in global and international contexts, identifying needs and new realities that enable knowledge transfer to current or emerging professional development areas, and adaptation and self-management in professional practice and research. The teaching language is Spanish. The program starts in September. It leads to a joint PhD program between the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia and Mondragon University.
