The Doctoral Programme in Educational Innovation and Intervention is a joint PhD program between two universities, focusing on four research areas: comprehensive childhood development, multilingualism and interculturality, inclusive education, and changing educational paradigms. Degree Overview:

The Doctoral Programme in Educational Innovation and Intervention is a joint PhD program between the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia and Mondragon University. It's oriented toward research in four areas based on current needs in educational research: Comprehensive childhood development, and the conditions required to achieve this in educational contexts. Languages, cultures, and literatures in the field of education in multilingual contexts, and further study of the phenomena of multilingualism and interculturality in contemporary society and schools. Study and design of inclusive educational environments which integrate students with disabilities and those at risk of exclusion, and development of teaching and learning resources to guarantee inclusion. Responses to the changing educational paradigms of the knowledge society, to promote research into skills development, innovation in specific areas of education, and the use of information and communication technologies. The program has 14 places available. The coordinator of the doctoral program is Dr. Llorenç Comajoan Colomé. The academic committee at UVic-UCC includes Dr. Llorenç Comajoan Colomé (President), Dr. Antoni Tort Bardolet, and Dr. Núria Simó Gil. The languages of instruction are Catalan, Spanish, and English.
