The Scale-Up Masterclass is a program designed for founders and C-level executives of fast-growing companies. The program fosters a close-knit community of like-minded European leaders, providing a unique learning experience with a long-term impact on participants' companies, themselves, and their teams. Outline:
The Scale-Up Masterclass is a blended learning program consisting of three face-to-face modules, individual coaching sessions, and several online modules. Participants also develop a concrete personal action plan for their company, utilizing an in-company project and the Vlerick Growth Scan© to apply learnings.
- Module 1: Go-to-market strategy and sales (face-to-face): Focuses on accelerating sales processes, shortening sales cycles, implementing account-based marketing for personalized user interactions, building a customer-first culture, and building a sales team.
- Module 3: Bringing it all together (face-to-face): Involves applying insights to an in-company project addressing a business or strategic challenge. This module includes group coaching, individual expert feedback, and peer guidance to professionalize the business, culminating in a concrete strategic business plan with milestones, actions, and goals.
- Online module: Product management organization (optional): Covers developing product roadmaps, understanding product team roles, and data-driven decision-making. Taught by Tom Dejonghe (Collibra) & Katie Madding.
- Online module: Raising finance and interacting with investors (optional): Focuses on the need for a board of directors, creating value with the board, developing a long-term vision, and managing investors on the board. Taught by Dave Berkus (Berkus Tech Ventures) & Sophie Manigart (Vlerick Business School). Taught by Philippe Haspeslagh (Vlerick Business School). The action plan is applied to an in-company project, resulting in a strategic business plan.

The program uses a blended learning approach combining face-to-face modules, online modules, individual coaching, and group coaching sessions.
