The 18-month full-time program consists of a one-year academic program followed by a 4-6 month internship or work placement. It's taught entirely in English and includes foundation courses, core modules, electives, a Master's project, and French classes.

  • Foundation Courses (July-August, online): Students choose three from five options based on their background: Corporate Finance & Asset Markets, Fundamentals of Stats and Data Science with Python, Financial Analysis & Valuation, Marketing Management, and Strategic Management.
  • These courses provide a solid grounding in finance, statistical modeling, financial accounting, marketing principles, and strategic decision-making.
  • Core Modules (September-February): These mandatory modules cover Business Ethics & Big Data (analyzing ethical implications of big data), Data Mining (methods and applications using Python), Data Visualization with Power BI (creating dashboards and visualizations), Machine Learning (basic models and applications), Python Programming (data analysis and visualization), Research Methodology (business research process and application to the Master's thesis), Statistical Models (linear regression and model selection), and Web Analytics (digital marketing principles and tools).
  • Specializations (September-February): After core modules, students choose a specialization track:
  • Data Science: Covers business data management, deep learning, data science projects for business, natural language processing, and time series analysis.
  • Personalization Period (March-May): Students choose electives from a list (Behavioral science for sustainability, Business models for sustainability, Data analytics with Python for starters, Inside the sport industry, Introduction to sustainable finance, Responsible AI & data protection, Selling and sales management, Strategic cost & performance management, Managing risks, compliance & human rights, Marketing intelligence for luxury, Sustainable marketing, VBA for Excel, Customer & data analytics, Economic crime, fraud and money laundering, Is our digital & tech world sustainable?, Luxury brand management, Global justice & human rights, Inside the gaming industry, Managing diversity & inclusion, Risk management, Sustainable textile), complete a certificate (Reflexive and Positive Leadership, Leading SAFe® & Product owner, Foresight Innovation & Transformation, Project management), and participate in a learning expedition (Business-oriented Data Analytics and Machine Learning in Dublin, Entertainment Management in Sofia, Strategy in Tech in Krakow).
  • Master's Project: A final project allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills.
  • Internship (June onwards): A 4-6 month internship or work placement.

Teaching:

The teaching methodology incorporates a core curriculum, blended learning (tutorials, lectures, workshops, seminars), applied learning (business games, case studies, entrepreneurship projects), and personal performance coaching (interviewing strategies, teamwork development, intercultural communication skills). The program utilizes third-party software like Google Analytics, Celonis, Tableau, Power BI, Keras, and Snowflake. While certificates in these software packages are not mandatory, they are encouraged. The program prepares graduates for roles such as business intelligence analyst, data & knowledge engineer, digital analytics consultant, data scientist, data scientist manager, digital data analyst, supply chain analytics & customer development, and digital innovation/transformation officer. Entry Requirements:

EDHEC seeks talented candidates from diverse backgrounds, with a history of strong academic achievement and demonstrated potential for growth and professional success. Minimum requirements include a three-year bachelor’s degree (any type of engineering or business/finance background). Applicants must also provide acceptable English proficiency test/certificates (TOEFL, TOEIC, or IELTS with minimum scores of TOEFL Internet-based ≥ 92, TOEIC ≥ 850, IELTS ≥ 6.5, or Cambridge Test of English ≥ 175). English native speakers or those holding a degree taught in English (minimum three years) are eligible for an English Test waiver. An optional GMAT, GRE, TAGE MAGE, or CAT official test score report (CAT for Indian students only) can add value to the application. Other required documents include a CV, letter of motivation, academic transcripts, and two letters of recommendation. An online video interview is also required. Minimum scores are: TOEFL Internet-based ≥ 92, TOEIC ≥ 850, IELTS ≥ 6.5, or Cambridge Test of English ≥ 175. English native speakers or those holding a degree taught in English (minimum three years) are eligible for a waiver.
