Overview
The Diploma and Certificates in International Relations and Diplomacy (DASIR/CASIR/CIR) programmes address the training needs of diplomats and professionals who work in, or aspire to work in, international, non-governmental or non-profit organisations, or in the private sector and who wish to deepen their education in international relations, current global issues and diplomatic praxis.

The programme aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to excel in the field of international relations and diplomacy.

DASIR
- Evaluate the dynamics of 21st century diplomacy and international politics.
- Identify new dimensions of foreign policy, geopolitics, global security, development and sustainability.
- Implement negotiation, communication, and leadership skills and tools to effectively meet complex situations, manage crises and encourage international cooperation.
CASIR

Programme Structure
The Short Term Executive Programmes are structured in a modular and flexible way to accommodate time constraints of busy professionals.
- DASIR: 30 ECTS
- 1 Teaching Module, worth 8 ECTS each
- 3 Teaching Modules, worth 6 each
- 1 Student Group Project, worth 4 ECTS
- CASIR: 12 ECTS
- 2 Teaching Modules, worth 6-8 ECTS each
- CIR: 6 ECTS
- 1 Teaching Module, worth 6 ECTS or 8
Entry Requirements
- Recognised school leaving certificate
- Proof of English language proficiency (or waiver, if applicable)
- All applicants will also be asked to participate in a brief interview, conducted by the admissions officer (online or in-person)

Financial Aid
- Chèque Annuel de Formation (CAF) is available for Geneva taxpayers
- Conditions to qualify:
- Adults domiciled and taxpayers in the canton for at least one year at the start of the requested training
- Adults who have had a cross-border worker’s permit for at least one year at the start of the requested training
- Adult Confederates residing in the border area and who have been working in the canton for at least one year at the time of the start of the requested training
