Program Overview

The "Safe Microbiological Techniques" program at Hanze University of Applied Sciences is a 3-day, part-time course designed to equip laboratory workers with the skills and knowledge to safely handle pathogenic and genetically modified microorganisms. It covers risk assessment, prevention, disinfection, sterilization, and legal aspects. The course is taught through practical lab work and self-study, and culminates in a certificate upon completion. It is offered in Dutch and English, with a maximum of 10 participants per course.
