This Higher National Level 4 Flex – Data Analytics program is a short course offered as part of a longer HNC program or as a standalone module. The program introduces students to the theoretical foundations of data analytics, various processes and techniques, and provides hands-on experience. Students will gain practical experience using programming languages like Python/R, or tools like Weka, KNIME, Power BI, and Excel. The objective is for students to grasp the theoretical basis of data analytics and its processes and techniques, and to gain practical experience implementing them. The program is 12 weeks in duration and starts in September 2025. It is a part-time program held at the David Hockney Building. The qualification gained is a Generic award - no awarding body, Non regulated provision, Level 4, ICT for Users.
