Program Overview

The PGCE Health and Social Care with QTS program at Bradford College and Leeds Trinity University prepares graduates to become Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in secondary Health and Social Care. The one-year, full-time program combines college sessions covering subject knowledge and pedagogy with school-based experience to develop reflective practitioners with strong classroom skills. The program meets the minimum ITT Core Content Framework and leads to a recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) upon successful completion of the summative assessment.
