Program Overview

This PGCE Science with Biology with QTS program, in partnership with Leeds Trinity University, aims to prepare graduates for a career as an early career teacher (ECT) in science. The one-year program, commencing in September 2025, emphasizes the connection between theory and practice, with a focus on developing reflective practitioners who continuously improve their skills. Successful completion leads to a recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
