Short Description
This programme gives you a thorough knowledge of traditional and contemporary arts, drawing, colour theory, aesthetics as well as introducing the practical art of painting. Graduates are able to design visual art compositions individually and have a thorough knowledge on traditional and digital art technology. Students can continue their master teacher training studies at the University of Nyíregyháza on the Teacher of Drawing and Visual culture programme.

- Having a language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. English communication skills will be proved in the online interview during the application procedure.

Description of the Selection and the Entrance Examination Process
The admission procedure consists of the following parts:
- submitting of an art portfolio
- online interview (20-30 minutes) and practical entrance exam
- evaluation of application documents
The application procedure is based on an evaluation system of 100 points (50 points are given for motivation, educational background and evaluation of portfolio and practical entrance exam, and the other 50 points for language proficiency and intercultural preparedness according to the online interview). Following the formal check-up of the application documents, the staff of the institute will organize the oral and practical entrance examination.
