Entry Requirements:

The MSc Shipping, Energy Trading and Sustainability program is open to graduates of all disciplines and professionals with experience in shipping, trade, and sustainability who wish to expand their knowledge and advance professionally. Required application documents include:

  • A first University degree from educational institutions in Greece or abroad, regardless of subject (for holders of degrees from British Universities, a minimum grade of 2:2 is required).
  • Letters of recommendation.
  • Police ID.
  • Identity photos.
  • A C1 or C2 level English language proficiency certificate (Cambridge or Michigan) OR a Metropolitan College placement test with a minimum score of 6.5 and no less than 6 in each part of the overall exam.
  • Other academic qualifications (if any).
  • Metropolitan College application form.
  • Applications from candidates without a first degree but with relevant professional experience are encouraged, subject to approval by the collaborating university. A personal interview is part of the candidate selection process.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

Applicants need a C1 or C2 level English language proficiency certificate (Cambridge or Michigan) OR a Metropolitan College placement test with a minimum score of 6.5 and no less than 6 in each part of the overall exam.
