The Information Security Engineering (English) program at Cyprus Science University is a Bachelor's Degree, a 240 ECTS credits, 4-year program consisting of eight semesters, each with a 30 ECTS workload. One ECTS equals 25.5 hours of student workload per semester. The program aims to equip students with the skills to compete globally and address social and technical needs in Information Security and Cyber Security fields. The curriculum covers fundamental principles of Information Systems, Critical Infrastructures, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in cyberattack detection and prevention. It also includes Cybersecurity Law. The program blends practical, theoretical, and design courses to provide a qualified education. ), conducting log analysis and forensic investigations, preparing for forensic readiness, cooperating in cyber investigations, researching new threats and exploits, guiding the development of network security solutions, advising on vulnerabilities, and analyzing security-related data from various products and devices.
