The International Master in Artificial Intelligence is organized into three core modules:
- Module 1: Understand the Strategic Impact and Value of AI in Business: This module covers Managerial Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Planning, Business Strategy, Accounting & Budgeting, Project & Operations Management, Marketing (Traditional and Digital), Human Resource Management, and Data Analytics for Managers. The goal is to provide students with the essentials of entrepreneurship, business planning, strategic understanding, financial management, project management, marketing principles, human resource management, and data analysis skills.
- Module 2: Develop practical applications of AI as virtual assistants and chatbot: This module covers the business value of AI (introduction to AI in business, AI strategy and business alignment, ROI and business impact, AI adoption and change management); AI in practice and use cases (healthcare, data engineering, AI in industry, R&D); AI and ML algorithms for business (machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics and forecasting, natural language processing (NLP), reinforcement learning and decision making, computer vision); and AI platform and vendors (AI infrastructure and cloud computing, AI development frameworks and tools, AI platform selection and evaluation, data management and AI, AI integration with existing systems, AI and exponential technologies to transform business and organizations).
- Module 3: Lead AI Projects to Manage new Business Models: This module explores AI and the Internet of Things (IoT) (AI and blockchain, AI and robotic process automation (RPA), AI and augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR), AI and edge computing); and the social responsibility of AI (ethical frameworks for AI and CSR, bias and fairness in AI, privacy and security in AI, explainability and transparency in AI, AI regulation and governance, business ethics and CSR). In addition to the core modules, the program includes:
- Practice Lab (in partnership with IBM): A 12-hour practical lesson focused on applying AI concepts and tools to real-world scenarios using Oracle's AI technologies.
- Silicon Valley Bootcamp: A one-week intensive program in Silicon Valley, allowing students to network with industry professionals and learn about the technology landscape.
- Electives: Students can choose electives from five main areas of interest: Innovation & Growth, Tech & Digitalization, Industry Business Excellence, International Business, and Global Electives with RBS School partners.
- Capstone Project: Students create an AI startup (business model canvas, pitch deck, business architecture, resources and path to market, video of the idea) or work on a real company business challenge from the AI sector. This involves tackling a real company challenge, potentially developing a marketing plan, increasing online sales, or creating a loyalty offering.
