GBSB Global Business School is accredited by the Government of Catalonia's Department of Education and delivers postgraduate diplomas (a minimum of 62 ECTS, EQF/MQF Level 7) face-to-face from our campus in Barcelona, Spain. Once students have met the requirements of an exit award, they can terminate their studies by proceeding to the Master of Science in Management (Human Resources and Talent Development) (90 ECTS, EQF/MQF Level 7) studies, by completing the last quarter of their studies online.

- Develop: This section focuses on building skills in effective teamwork and project management, and talent development and management. Specific topics include workplace motivation and satisfaction, group performance dynamics, power, politics, and conflict, organizational culture, talent acquisition approaches, the talent management life cycle, and creating effective talent development programs. (6 ECTS for Effective Teamwork and Project Management and 6 ECTS for Talent Development and Management)
- Manage: This section develops management skills through modules on Operations Management (6 ECTS) and Finance for Management (8 ECTS).
- Foster: This section focuses on attracting and retaining top talent to foster organizational growth. The Strategic Human Resource Management module (6 ECTS) covers strategic management, planning, structure, strategic approaches to organizational analysis, data and strategy, the strategic role of HRM, investment perspectives of HR, Social Corporate Responsibility (SCR) and HRM, strategic workforce planning, practical staffing approaches, compensation and reward strategies, employee separation and retention, and global HRM.
- Sustain: This section focuses on establishing and sustaining an inclusive and supportive company culture. Modules include Diversity Management and Global Workplace Inclusion (6 ECTS) and International Perspectives on Employee Relations (6 ECTS). Topics covered include diversity across cultures, strategies for addressing diversity and inclusion related to race, religion, ethnicity, and gender, inclusion of people with special needs, management of employee relations in international organizations, work-life balance, current issues in diversity and inclusion, principles and regulations of employee relations, and regulations in the area of employee relations.
- Digitize: This section focuses on utilizing digital HR technologies and tools to spur innovation and enhance business competitiveness. Modules include Digital Transformation, Innovation and Technology (6 ECTS) and Digital HR Tech and Tools (6 ECTS). Topics include the digital economy, digital strategy and transformation, Drucker’s 7 Sources of Innovation, open innovation, strategic approaches to managing innovation, disruption theory, HR’s digital transformation, digital HR strategy (including selecting HR technology), people analytics, and implementing data-driven HR practices.
- Strategize: This section develops strategic thinking skills through modules on Economics and Geopolitics (6 ECTS, online) and Strategic Management and Analytics (8 ECTS, online). Topics include principles of behavioral economics, geopolitics and geo-economics methodologies, causes of globalization, strategic management, planning, structure, strategic approaches to analyzing the organizational position, data and strategy.
- Capstone Project: A comprehensive final project allows students to apply their knowledge and skills to a real-world problem or idea within their area of expertise. Students can choose between research or problem-solving approaches. The program initially awards a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources and Talent Development (minimum 62 ECTS, EQF/MQF Level 7) delivered face-to-face in Barcelona.

Language Proficiency Requirements:
To demonstrate proficiency in English, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- English as a native language;
- TOEFL – Minimum score: 213 (computer-based), 79/93 (internet-based), or 550 (paper-based);
- IELTS – Minimum score: 6.5;
- Cambridge ESOL, Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) – Minimum score: C1;
- English as the language of instruction during previous studies in the formal educational system;
- Pass GBSB Global’s internal English proficiency test.
