Program Overview
The "Management and Information Technologies" Double Degree Master's Program is a collaborative international program offered by five universities worldwide. This two-year, English-taught program equips graduates with advanced knowledge in management, business administration, and computer sciences, preparing them for careers in international economics and IT fields. It is accredited by ASIIN (Germany) and offers graduates two master's diplomas, one from IBSU (Georgia) and one from WHZ (Germany).
Program Outline
The program addresses the global demand for highly qualified graduates with international experience and intercultural skills. It is accredited by ASIIN (Germany) and recognized by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement – EQE (Georgia). The program's objective is to prepare students for sustainable responsibility in economic development within global and regional economies, enabling them to work in management and informatics fields and their intersections. The interview is conducted online with IBSU and WHZ commission members and two external subject experts. In case of equal points among applicants, the motivation letter and GPA are considered.
Careers:
The double degree program prepares students for roles in the international and regional/local economy. Graduates will be equipped to handle economic development responsibilities globally and locally. Specific career fields include middle and senior management (especially IT project management or change management in digital business model transformations), work in regional and international companies, (IT) project management, (IT) strategy development, start-up foundation, software engineering, and business intelligence/analytics. Graduates receive two diplomas: one from IBSU (Georgia) and one from WHZ (Germany). The German diploma offers five profiles (determined by elective subjects): Business Allrounder, IT/Project Manager, Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Scientific Secretary/Scientist.

The program is two years long (120 ECTS) and taught in English.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must fulfill the following conditions for the joint Master’s study program “Management and Computer Science,” as outlined in the agreement between partner universities: A first university degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Management, Business Administration, International Relations, Language Science, or related fields. Successful completion of the general Master’s Exam. Successful completion of the B2 level English language intra-university exam (unless exempted – see below). Successful completion of an interview assessing motivation, proficiency in English (at least B2 level), and basic knowledge of business administration and computer science. The interview will be conducted online with IBSU and WHZ commission members, and two external subject experts. Topics will relate to the program curriculum, covering computer science, information technology, management, business administration, and related subjects.
Exemptions:
- Applicants with an international B2-level English language certificate are exempted from the English language exam.
- Applicants who have completed an English language educational program are exempted from the English language exam.
- In case of equal points, the motivation letter and GPA will be considered.
Required Documents:
- Application form
- Two 3x4 photos (printed and electronic)
- Notarized copies of the diploma and appendix, or a certificate from the higher education institution awarding the degree and a consolidated mark sheet (IBSU diplomas do not need notarization).
- Applicants with overseas higher education must provide notarized translations of the diploma and appendix, and documentation confirming their international education.
- Copy of identification card and passport
- Military registration document (if applicable).
Language Proficiency Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate B2 level English proficiency. This can be demonstrated through an international certificate or by successfully completing the intra-university English language exam. The interview will also assess English language proficiency.
