The Associate in Cybersecurity and Networking (ACSN) program at DeVry University is designed to help students advance in the cybersecurity field. The curriculum prepares students to implement, validate, and update security infrastructures; analyze and mitigate security risks; build defense mechanisms to protect applications, systems, and networks from hackers; and introduces cryptography. The program focuses on skills development and prepares students for industry-aligned certifications. A complimentary laptop is provided to students as part of the program. The program aims to teach both technical and professional skills to make graduates well-rounded contributors in the workplace. It offers hands-on experience and industry-aligned certification preparation. The program helps prepare students to pursue industry certifications, with reimbursement of up to $300 towards one certification exam. Possible certifications include CompTIA A+, CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Cloud Essentials+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA CASP+, CompTIA PenTest+, and EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker. DeVry University's Cybersecurity curriculum is acknowledged and verified by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Careers and Studies (NICCS). The program can be completed in as little as 1 year and 4 months (minimum completion time) or 2 years (normal completion time), depending on the chosen schedule.
