The BBA Data, IA & Management is a four-year, full-time Bachelor of Business Administration program jointly offered by Audencia and Centrale Nantes. It aims to train multidisciplinary managers with advanced expertise in management (finance, management, marketing, strategy) and technical skills in data collection, analysis, and utilization to enhance business performance. The program is taught entirely in English and boasts a strong international dimension with opportunities for study abroad. Outline:

The BBA Data, IA & Management program is structured across four years, with a balanced schedule of morning classes at Audencia and afternoon classes at Centrale Nantes (or vice versa), totaling approximately 25 hours per week plus group and individual work. The curriculum is divided into four years:

  • Year 1: Focuses on foundational knowledge in both management and data science.
  • Includes courses such as accounting, finance, marketing, microeconomics, sales techniques, cost analysis, market study, product innovation, sales communication (Audencia); algorithmics, scientific computing, analysis, linear algebra, scientific programming, and data structures management (Centrale Nantes); and language courses (English, French, and/or Chinese) and sports. A minimum 8-week internship is required.
  • Year 2: Builds upon Year 1's foundation with advanced courses in both fields, particularly in engineering, including a semester at the École Centrale de Casablanca.
  • Year 3: Develops expertise in management, beginning with a semester at Audencia's Shenzhen campus.
  • Includes co-taught courses by both schools. Concludes with a 16-week internship in France or abroad. Courses include Chinese language, finance, corporate finance, introduction to Fintech, financial decision-making, big data and finance, business game (Shenzhen); customer relationship management, crypto and online currencies, strategy and innovation, responsible AI, research methodology, digital marketing, quantum computing, blockchain, data and business strategy (Audencia & Centrale Nantes).
  • Year 4: Consolidates knowledge and develops professional skills through a 24-week final internship or project.
  • Courses include Fintech, supply chain management and big data, operations management and big data, personalization and recommendation systems, management of international trade operations, business intelligence, research methodology II, responsible AI II, enterprise 4.0, and AI and decision-making (Audencia & Centrale Nantes). The program includes three internships totaling 12 months: an 8-week internship in Year 1, a 16-week internship in Year 3, and a 24-week final internship/project in Year 4.

Assessment:

The program uses continuous assessment, written evaluations, and group work.

The program uses a variety of teaching methods including theoretical courses, business games, simulations, case studies, practical exercises, a "fil rouge" project, group projects, and research projects. Entry Requirements:

For EU home students and students from France: The entry exam for the first year is open to candidates currently obtaining or holding a general Baccalaureate who have followed the mathematics and/or expert or complementary mathematics specialty in Première or Terminale OR a technological Baccalaureate (STMG or STI2D). For International Students (outside the EU): International applicants must present an International Baccalaureate diploma before the program's start date. They must also submit the grades received during their last academic year.
