Program Overview

The BA in Subject Matter Education (K-12) - Art from Rowan University is a 4-year program preparing students for teaching careers in art education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. The program requires a minimum GPA of 2.25 and includes a full year of clinical practice (student teaching) as mandated by New Jersey. Graduates will be eligible for New Jersey teacher certification.
