Corporate Governance (Robert Kennedy College)
Course Overview
The LL.M Corporate Governance meets the current demand for specialist knowledge and skills in the rapidly expanding fields of international commercial law and corporate governance law. It provides students with the opportunity to explore, in-depth, the legal regulation of the world of international business and corporate governance. Academically rigorous, the LL.M will expose students to a practical real-world application of the law.

Course Summary
The Online Master of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate Governance is the prime management qualification for lawyers and managers wishing to strengthen their legal knowledge; research indicates that the LL.M is a catalyst for individuals with strong career aspirations. The University of Cumbria now offers students the opportunity to complete an LL.M 100% online, enabling them to study while continuing to work.
The LL.M qualification continues to be the gold standard for career development not only within the Legal sector, including those practising law in commercial and business fields, but also in the Business and Management field.

Timetables
The teaching timetable should be available from the end of August. Access to the timetable is through the Student Hub – you will be able to access the Student Hub after you have completed online registration. The teaching day is 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday; please keep your other commitments open until confirmation of your teaching timetable, and bear in mind that many courses will offer placements or fieldwork which sometimes extends into the evenings and weekends.
Entry Requirements
Formal Entry Requirements
- An honours degree at 2:2 or above.
- At least 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- English language at IELTS 6.5 (minimum of 5.5 in each component).
- Applications are considered from candidates who do not meet the formal entry requirements but can provide evidence of equivalence.
Examples of Equivalence
- A wide range of professional qualifications and/or work experience.
- Working or studying in English or an English-speaking environment.
- Applications will be considered from candidates who do not meet the formal entry requirements but who can demonstrate by interview the commitment to complete the programme successfully.
APL will be considered.
