Module - Evidence Based Practice (level 6)

Overview

This module is designed to enhance both clinical and academic skills. It will explore a wide range of evidence and enhance the ability to acquire and evaluate evidence.


Objectives

  • Demonstrate the skills of locating high-quality evidence that is capable of enhancing decision-making in your own sphere of practice
  • Demonstrate how evidence can be manipulated and analyze specific examples of this from your own sphere of practice
  • Discuss how clinical guidelines are developed and how they evolve by analyzing specific examples from your own area of practice

The activities and feedback throughout the evidence-based practice module are designed to enhance both clinical and academic skills.

The University may therefore raise tuition fees in the second or subsequent years of a course, in line with inflation and/or the maximum permitted by law or government policy.
