Course Overview
Independent Study including Learning Adventures is a part-time, short course that offers 20 level 7 credits towards postgraduate level qualifications. This course is designed to provide professionals working in informal and outdoor education, development training, and related fields with the support, resources, and academic credit to carry out their own work-based inquiry.

This course attracts professionals who wish to design their own study, such as the design of a new program, professional development, or the evaluation of a project. Upon approval of the plan, participants receive support from an academic supervisor, full access to university resources, and the opportunity to meet others studying in the same area.
