Overview
The module is designed to develop learners' knowledge of assessing and treating minor injuries with current legislation, which can be applied to the majority of minor conditions encountered in their professional capacity. This includes understanding the background pathophysiology of the injury and illness, bridging the gap between practice and theory.

- Develop skills to practice as a confident and competent clinician in identifying and managing minor illness and injury patient presentation.
- Study online, bringing clinical practice into the learning environment alongside other healthcare professionals.

Teaching & Assessment
How you will learn
- Undertake a variety of tasks, both directed and self-directed, designed to enhance understanding of the learning outcomes and how treating and assessing minor injuries and illnesses can support development as a clinician.
- Complete assigned formative tasks supporting minor injury and illness knowledge, completing asynchronous tasks designed to encourage learning and development of practice.
- Case study review and completion will be undertaken, supporting further study and preparation toward the final assignment.
How you will be assessed
- The assessment will be a 3500-word assignment containing two case studies pertaining to the modular content alongside BBN elements.
