This module will enable you to use pharmacological knowledge to advance your understanding of, and your ability to manage, therapeutic care of individuals in relation to medicines.

Course Outline

Course Summary

On successful completion, you will be able to:

• Critically review pharmacological and therapeutic concepts related to medicines
• Critically review a range of pharmacological interventions in the management of clients presenting with identified pathologies
• Critically evaluate the nature and quality of the evidence base in informing the adoption of pharmacological interventions
• Critically reflect on individual practice in the light of knowledge and understanding gained
